Our kennel has both indoor and outdoor runs. If weather permits the doors are left open so each dog can go in and out their own runs during the day. Our kennel is both heated and air conditioned. We let dogs out in the back yard of the kennel three times a day so they can run a little and relieve themselves on grass if they prefer.
Each guest is examined for fleas upon arrival at the kennel. If necessary they are given a flea bath at the owners expense. We recommend all dogs have a topical flea treatment such as Frontline or Advantage. Flea collars offer very little help with repelling fleas and lose their strength in a short time.
Every day each kennel is cleaned and disinfected and clean beds and blankets are provided. Some people like to bring their own blankets but we do discourage that as we cant wash large blankets or quilts in our washing machine. We supply stainless steel dishes and pails for water which are sanitized daily.
