Spring has arrived
Along with warm weather and sunny skies, we will once again be seeing old pests like fleas and ticks. May and June are the times that those pesky little creatures come out of their winter hiding places and begin to re-populate. There is no other place better better for that than your pets skin. The fleas have a great place to raise their young with the free food, water and warm setting that is ideal hatching spot.
Its important to keep the Frontline or Advantix on your dogs through October, don't let your dog be turned into a flea travel trailer. Flea collars do very little in protecting your dogs and NEVER do both collar and topical at the same time, you could poison your dog.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO TALK TO YOUR VETERINARIAN ABOUT FLEA AND TICK CONTROL. FRONTLINE or Advantix APPLIED TO YOUR DOG BETWEEN THE SHOULDERS WILL PROTECT THEM FROM FLEAS AND TICKS DURING THE FALL MONTHS.
WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO EXAMINE EACH DOG FOR FLEAS UPON THEIR ARRIVAL, HOWEVER, SOME MAY ELUDE OUR SEARCH. BY USING FRONTLINE OR ADVANTIX YOU WILL KEEP YOUR DOG BUG FREE .
THIS IS VERY A VERY IMPORTANT MEASURE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE REQUESTING NATURE WALKS.
